Hello October from CameronCavs 🐾

October is here, with crisp mornings, golden leaves and autumn well and truly settling in.

This month is a special one for us as our lovely Ellie (Elenna) turns 8. It really doesn’t feel like eight years since she arrived in the CameronCavs family to her beautiful mama Bella, and she is still very much enjoying her walks, garden time and all the home comforts that come with being one of the girls.

She may be getting a little older, but she still loves getting out and about, especially on those bright autumn days when there are plenty of new smells to investigate and a leaf to chase!

Here’s to a lovely October, with autumn sunshine and cosy days at home.

About CameronCavs

CameronCavs is based in our family home in Bathgate, Central Scotland, between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

We are Gerry and Norma Cameron, and our dogs are very much part of everyday family life. Our Cavaliers, Toy Poodle and puppies are raised in a home environment, surrounded by the usual noise, visitors, cuddles and chaos of a busy household.

We specialise in Kennel Club Registered Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and F1 Cavapoos, bred from pedigree, Kennel Club registered parents, with health, temperament and lifelong support at the heart of what we do.

The CameronCavs Difference

Family Raised, Never Kennel Raised

Our dogs and puppies live in our home as part of the family. They are never kennel raised and grow up surrounded by normal household life, including cuddles, visitors, everyday noises and routines.

Health-Tested Parents

Health testing is extremely important to us. Our Cavaliers are DNA tested, heart screened by a cardiologist and eye tested by a qualified veterinary ophthalmologist, following the Kennel Club’s Good Practice and Best Practice guidance for the breed.

Our Toy Poodle is DNA tested for prcd-PRA and also receives regular eye testing by a qualified veterinary ophthalmologist.

A Lifelong Home for Our Dogs

Our adult dogs remain with us for life. When you visit your puppy, you will usually meet several generations of our Cavaliers, including aunties, grannies and the rest of the Paw Gang.

A Little More About Us

We rehome our puppies within the UK, so we can stay connected with their families and offer support as they grow.

We were the only Kennel Club Assured Breeder for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in Scotland while the Kennel Club ran the scheme, and have been inspected and recognised for our standards in health, welfare and breeding.

The paw gang includes Abi, Bella, Caia, Daisy, Ellie, Florrie, Gracie, Angus, Pippin & Toby.
